Tetsuji Miyazaki has worked at Toyo Engineering Corporation for 35 years, specializing in petrochemical, oil, and gas plant engineering. Over the course of two decades, he has served as a Civil, Structural, and Architectural Engineer within various project teams, contributing to EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, the USA, and Russia. In the subsequent eight years, he made significant contributions to the business development of Toyo Engineering Corporation in the Russian market. As the General Manager of the Moscow Representative Office, he leveraged his extensive EPC experience and fluency in the Russian language to help drive the company’s growth in the region. In 2019, he was appointed as Project Manager and Director of the Irkutsk Branch Office in Russia, overseeing the Irkutsk Polymer Plant, a mega-project in Ust-Kut, Irkutsk Region. He effectively managed client relations with Irkutsk Oil Company and ensured the successful execution of Toyo’s responsibilities, particularly in the Construction Management Team and Commissioning Service Support. Despite facing significant challenges, such as the global pandemic and sanctions, the Polymer Plant successfully started up in August 2025. In October 2025, he was assigned as Director of the Representative Office in Turkmenistan, where he played a key role in implementing both the first and second phases of work for the Kiyanly Polymer Plant in Balkan, Turkmenistan, ensuring the reliable startup of production.
