Turkmenistan and the EU will continue to develop transport cooperation

    25 Jan 2025

Turkmenistan and the European Union will continue active cooperation in the field of transport. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova at a briefing on the results of cooperation with the EU in 2024 and plans for 2025. Byashimova noted that transport is one of the key areas of cooperation. Last year, the Global Gate forum was held in Brussels, following which a coordination platform for the development of transport links between Europe and Central Asia was created. In October, the Trans-Caspian Corridor coordination platform was launched in Ashgabat at the level of transport ministers.
