As part of active development of international cooperation in the energy sector, Turkmenistan held regular meetings with representatives of South Korean Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd, TDH reports.Heads of the State Concern ‘Turkmengaz’ and Hyundai Engineering delegation headed by Senior Vice President Jung Song Yong discussed the current state and prospects of work on the development of the fourth phase of the Galkynysh field.The parties paid special attention to the legal and organisational aspects of the project. Representatives of Hyundai Engineering noted that participation in the development of the field ‘Galkynysh’ will allow the company to use its potential in the implementation of energy projects and enrich international experience with new knowledge and practice. They also stressed the need to fulfil the agreements reached during the mutual visits at the highest state level in 2023-2024.

The talks were held in an atmosphere of friendship and constructivism, demonstrating the high interest of foreign companies to work in the energy sector of Turkmenistan. The parties agreed to continue regular meetings in accordance with previously agreed schedules.
